We have a powerful team of consultants and BMT experts. Dr. Pietro Sodani, Dr. Edward Dela Zig and few more others are all passionate and committed BMTG Medical Directors.

Dr. Pietro Sodani of Cure Thalassemia is a world leading expert in BMT for hemoglobinopathies. These BMT services are primarily focused on the treatment of severe hemoglobinopathies and have achieved results on a par with international standards at a fraction of the cost.

Dr. Pietro Sodani is a Scientific Co-ordinator of 'BMT from haploidentical mother to child with thalassemia using Protocol 30', and together with his colleague he has done more than 400 BMTs for thalassemia over the past 15 years.
